SMS Program Terms
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Program
The 407 Umps SMS Notifications program sends transactional SMS messages to (a) parents and coaches who book umpires through our service, and (b) volunteer umpires who register on our roster. Messages include:
- Booking confirmations
- Match notifications when an umpire accepts your game
- Cancellation confirmations
- One-time login codes for account access
- Game-coordination messages between matched parties via our masked-line system
- Reminder messages and game-day reconfirmation prompts
Opt-in
You opt in to receive SMS by submitting your phone number on our booking form (at https://407umps.com/book/form) or umpire registration form, and by acknowledging the consent notice presented at submission. By submitting either form, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from 407 Umps related to your booking or registration.
Opt-out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. After STOP, you will no longer receive transactional SMS from us. You may still receive transactional emails.
- Reply HELP to any message for support information, or visit https://407umps.com/lookup or email help@407umps.com.
- To re-enable SMS after opting out, reply START to a message you previously received from us.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. A typical booking generates 2–5 transactional messages over its lifecycle. Communication via the masked-line system depends on how much you and your matched party choose to use it.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. SMS charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility. 407 Umps does not charge you a per-message fee for SMS.
Carrier disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We rely on Twilio and on US mobile carriers to deliver messages to your device.
Support contact
For questions about the SMS program or about a specific message, email help@407umps.com.
